Grimes Hill Halt: gwrgh87

Looking towards Stratford upon Avon from the Birmingham end of the down platform with Norton Lane road bridge in the distance. This early view shows the station, then known as 'Grimes Hill Halt' in its 'as built' condition with just Pagoda passenger shelters on either platform. The platform was built of brick, edged with paving slabs and with gravel hard standing and shallow ditch to the rear to remove rain water.
