GWR Route: North Warwickshire Line
Earlswood Lakes Station: gwrel2867
A Western Region Diesel Multiple Unit enters the station
with a down local passenger service to Stratford upon Avon on 26th May 1964.
This view shows that the GWR 'Running in Board' which displayed the station's
name has not only been retained but supplemented with British Railway's 'Totem'
station name signs fixed to the new concrete electrically lit lampposts.
Despite the fact that the line was now being managed by the London Region, the
station signage of both GWR and BR origin are painted in Western Region
colours.
