GWR Route: Alcester to Hatton Junction

A second official photograph of the new station construction taken on 9th August 1938. In this view the road-side booking office appears complete and work has started on the new footbridge in front of the road bridge. The up platform waiting room is substantially complete externally except for the roof tiling. In the fore ground are the w/c bowls and other porcelain fittings for the new platform waiting rooms and toilets.
