Ex-GWR 2-8-0 28xx class No 3828 is seen passing the sidings to the North of Snow Hill station whilst at the head of an up Class J train of empty mineral wagons. Built at Swindon works to Lot 334 in November 1940 No 3828 was first allocated to Canton shed in Cardiff to be followed by Pontypool Road shed in 1947 to 1950 and remained in service until October 1964 when it was withdrawn from Banbury shed.
