GWR Route: North Warwickshire Line
GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton
Bordesley Station: gwrbg1327
Looking North towards Snow Hill station from the end of the
island platform serving the up and down main lines on 26th July 1929. On the
right are the cattle sidings and in the distance the signal box seen in image
'gwrbg670a' with Duddeston Viaduct to its right.
The brick structure at the bottom of the timber ramp was a platelayers hut used
to store spare parts and tools for keeping the line up to the GWR's exacting
standards.
