Signalling schematic plan of Avon Bridge exchange sidings showing the three parallel sidings on the up side of the main line connected via trailing switches to both the up and down main lines. The exchange sidings had a head shunt spur at each end and was linked by a standard gauge private siding to the Power Station coaling plant. There was also a main line trailing crossover at the northern end. Warwick Avon Bridge Signal Box had 22 levers at 4 inch centres in a three bar vertical tappet frame to control the various Ground and Post Signals, Switches and two sets of detonators at this location. Warwick Avon Bridge Signal Box was only opened as required on weekdays for the local trip goods train. The Signal box was brick built with a hip roof and stove pipe chimney (designated type 7D). The Signal box was 25 feet long, by 11 feet wide and the operating floor was 11 feet above rail level. The Signal Box closed on 16th October 1966.
