LNER Route: Leicester to Marylebone

Ex-LMS 5MT 4-6-0 No 45335 is seen passing over the lines leading to Rugby Midland's large engine shed. The lines below the 'Birdcage' bridge and immediately on the right of the lines to the shed are the former Midland lines to Market Harborough and Peterbrough. In the distance is a new bridge carrying Clifton Road over the West Coast main line. Built by Armstrong Whitworth in March 1937 No 45335 remained in service until July 1965 when it was withdrawn from 16B Annesley shed.
