Ex-GWR 4-6-0 Hall class No 6940 'Didlington Hall' is seen passing through Stratford on Avon station at the head of an up freight service on 12th October 1963. Built at Swindon works to Lot 340 in August 1942 No 6940 was to remain in service until May 1964 when it was withdrawn from '85B' Horton Road shed in Gloucester to be scrapped during July 1964 by J Cashmore of Great Bridge.
