View of Kineton station looking towards Fenny Compton in the 1920s with vans stabled on the head shunt in the distance. On the right standing adjacent to the white fence are several milkchurns which would have been used to ship milk to the nearest town. Much of this traffic was transported by carried in the guards van of passenger trains. On the left by the oil lit lamppost is a porter's barrow which would be used to transport milk churns across the tracks by the boarded barrow walks as well as the customary luggage and parcels.
