View of Washwood Heath Sidings No 6 Signal Box which controlled the access to the majority of the twenty-five lines constituting the up sidings. Bob Essery records, 'both Washwood Heath No 5 and No 6 signal boxes were opened on 24th June 1930, made into ground frames in August 1969 and taken out of use on 16th November 1973, the day before the photograph was taken'.
