The approach to Washwood Heath Junction Signal Box viewed from a passing train on 12th April 1969. The photographer is actually heading away from the signal box being on an up train. The lines are from left to right: the throat to Washwood Heath Junction down sidings, passing through the centre of the gantry bridge is the down goods whilst to its right is the down passenger or main to New Street station.
