Ex-MR Johnson 2F 0-6-0 No 58230 stands outside Saltley Shed's roundhouse during rebuilding on Sunday 9th October 1955. Built by Derby works in October 1892 as a member of the MR's 1698 class, and originally numbered by the LMS as No 3134, No 58230 was to remain in service only for one month being withdrawn in November 1955 from Saltley shed to be scrapped by Crewe works.
