Ex-LMS 7P 4-6-0 No 46152 'The Kings Dragoon Guardsman and ex-LMS 7P 4-6-0 No 46160 'Queen Victoria's Riflemen, members of the Royal Scot class, are seen standing in Saltley shed's yard on 15th September 1963. Built in August 1927 by the North British Locomotive Company as the original class member, LMS No 6100 exchanged its identity with LMS No 6152 when 'Royal Scot was to visit the USA. On its return from the USA the locomotives were never returned to their true identity and therefore No 6100, now No 46152 remained in service until April 1965 when it was withdrawn from Kingmoor shed in Carlisle to be scrapped in May 1965 by Motherwell Machinery & Scrap Company of Inshaw Works. The other 'Scot', No 46160 was built by Derby works in August 1930 and remained in service until May 1965 when it was withdrawn from Kingmoor shed in Carlisle to be scrapped in July 1965 by Motherwell Machinery & Scrap Company of Inshaw Works.
