Ex-Midland Railway 3F 0-6-0 No 43687 is seen stored with other redundant locomotives at Saltley shed on 29th July 1962. A member of the MR's 1873 class, No 43687 was built by Neilson Reid & Company in April 1901 and was officially withdrawn from service in August 1962 when it was withdrawn from 21A Saltley shed to be scrapped by J Cashmore of Great Bridge.
