British Railways built 2MT 2-6-0 No 46509 stands alongside Saltley Shed on 4th April 1965. Built by Swindon works in December 1952, No 46509 was to remain in service until October 1966 when it was withdrawn from 2A Tyseley shed to be scrapped by J Cashmore, of Newport.
