LMS Route: Birmingham New Street to Tamworth

British Railways Standard Class 4MT 4-6-0 No 75000, the first of a class of eighty locomotives, stands with a couple of ex-LMS 8F 2-8-0 locomotives on 31st July 1967. Built by Swindon works in May 1951, No 75000 was to remain in service until December 1965 when it was withdrawn from 85A Worcester shed to be scrapped by TW Ward of Killamarsh.
