Close up of image 'mrs1082' showing the Nuneaton side of Stockingford stationmaster's house and passenger facilities. Its not known what purpose the small building on the right performed. However its general level of construction together with its tiled roof and stove pipe chimney would indicate that it played an important role in the operation of the station. The two storey building accommodated the stationmaster and his family and may even have originally provided accommodation for other staff too.
