MR outside curved framed 0-6-0 1F No 2702 is seen on a goods
train near Northfield on 1st August 1921. Designed by Kirtley and built as
Midland Railway No 334 by the Vulcan Foundry in 1870, No 2701 was to remain in
service until November 1930 when it was withdrawn to be scrapped by Derby
works.
