LMS Route: Birmingham New Street to Nuneaton

Castle Bromwich Station: mrcb1028

BR Standard 9F 2-10-0 No 92156 approaches Castle Bromwich with an express service on 5th September 1957. Its thought the 9F is on the 12:15pm Scarborough to Kings Norton which apparently was worked by a freight locomotive. Built at Crewe works in November 1957 and delivered new to Toton, No 92156 only remained in service for a very short time being withdrawn in July 1967 from 8B Warrington Dallam shed.
