On the right part of the access road which led on to Station Approach which in turn connected to Hewell Road. This access road, together with the access provided from Fiery Hill Road on the up side of the Gloucester to Bitmingham line, were the only routes available to the station for road vehicles. This was an unusual state of affairs as most stations had their road access routed to the main station building. In Barnt Green's case the turntable initially provided meant this was not at all possible. See image 'mrbg1416' for a plan of the station.
