MR 2-4-0 No 176 on an up passenger train at Barnt Green with a Clayton four-wheel passenger third brake carriage behind the tender. A member of the Midland Railway's 1282 class 176 started life as MR No 1281 when it was built by Dübs & Company in 1876. Thirty of the class were built and all were withdrawn between 1922 to 1948.
