Ex-LMS 5MT 4-6-0 No 44842 runs along side the shed at the head of an Ian Allen Special on 16th April 1955. To the right can be seen the fence at the side of the footpath leading to the shed. Built by Crewe works in October 1944, No 44842 remained in service until January 1968 when it was withdrawn from 9B Stockport shed to be scrapped by G Cohen of Kettering.
