Ex-LTSR 2P 4-4-2T No 2106 stands inside the shed next to MR 0-6-0 'Johnson half-cab' No 1700 in June 1935. The members of the class allocated to Bournville were only based there but for a short time but their reputation for free steaming, steady riding and comfortable cabs was appreciated by Bournville crews. No 2106 was the last of the class to be transferred from Bournville. Built as LTSR No 65 'Victoria' by the North British Locomotive Company in June 1903, No 2106 was to remain in service until November 1949 when it was withdrawn from 13A Plaistow shed to be scrapped by Derby shed in December 1949.
