Ex-LMS 8F 2-8-0 No 48718 climbs to the western portal of Arley Tunnel with a train of coal empties on Sunday 10th October 1965. - Built as LMS No 8718 at Brighton works in August 1944, No 48718 remained in service until April 1966 when it was withdrawn from 5E Nuneaton shed to be scrapped by J Cashmores.
