Looking East towards Coventry with Stechford No 1 signal box on the left and the down marshalling sidings on the right. The configuration of the trackwork is as follows. From left to right, access to Stechford goods yard, slow up platform, fast up platform, fast down platform, slow up platform and the hump used to shunt wagons under gravity in to the marshalling yard. The flat-roofed signal box on the right is in fact a ground frame to control the movements of wagons in to the sidings. 25th May 1963
