A clean ex-LMS 2-8-0 8F No 48526 carrying its home '2A' Rugby shed plate is seen reposed inside of Rugby's new shed. Built as LMS No 8526 by Doncaster Plant in December 1944 it remained in service until August 1966 when it was withdrawn from Stoke-on-Trent shed to be scrapped during December 1966 by J Cashmore of Great Bridge.
