Rugby Shed's War Memorial which was dedicated to twenty local men who lost their lives in the 'Great War'. Above the memorial is a photograph and dedication to:

CJ Bowen Cooke CBE, JP, CC., M Inst CE, MIMC.
Chief Mechanical Engineer, 1909 - 1920.
Generous and Just. Revered by All.

Andrew Kennedy writes. 'It is in the Colas Works in Rugby - here is one of my photos for Oakwood Visuals (as part our our LMS-Patriot Project filming). It now has the 'Patriot' plate on it - said to have been added after its withdrawal - very interested to hear from people who witnessed the Remembrance weekend displays at Rugby, be it as railwaymen or spotters'.
