An unidentified LNWR 4-6-0 Claughton Class locomotive heads an up express to Euston beneath the GCR bridge

An unidentified LNWR 4-6-0 Claughton Class locomotive heads an up express to Euston beneath the GCR bridge as a GCR 4-6-0 locomotive passes overhead with a down express to Leicester circa 1920-22. To the left of the locomotive, on the embankment, is the down line from Market Harborough, via Clifton Mill. The lines leaving Rugby south of the station are, from left to right: the main up line to Euston which was also used for traffic to be held in the loop line for accessing Hillmorton sidings; the main line to Northampton and the loop line which would hold traffic waiting to take the Northampton line. See image 'lnwrrm3048' for an opposite view of this section of line.
