Ex-MR 0-6-0 1142 Class No 58171 is seen with an unknown crew ready to leave the shed for its next trip. Built by Neilsen Reid & Company in June 1876 as MR No 1230, No 58172 was renumbered in June 1907 as MR No 2998 and again by British Railways in September 1952 to receive the number seen above which it carried until September 1959 when it was withdrawn from 2A Rugby shed.
