Ex-LMS Rebuilt Patriot Class 4-6-0 No 45529 'Stephenson' heads an express freight on Rugby's up goods through line on 15th September 1962. Originally re-built from a LNWR Claughton class locomotive as a LMS Patriot Class locomotive with parallel boiler at Crewe works in April 1933, No 45529 was initially named as 'Sir Herbert Walker KCB'. Rebuilt again with Stanier's 2A tapered boiler in July 1947, No 45529 was renamed 'Stephenson' in July 1948 which it carried until February 1964 when it was withdrawn from 16B Annesley shed.
