Close up of image 'lnwrrm2454' showing the cattle pens and the twin peaked roof of Rugby's goods shed which opened in 1881. The large white houses at the bottom of the image are the 'Villas' advertised at the time of the building of the second station circa 1850. They front on to Railway Terrace which prior to the building of the 1885 station ran from Clifton Road to the second station terminating in front of the villas. The road was lined all the way with railway sleepers placed vertically - as seen in image 'lnwrrm904'. The goods yard's sidings can be seen between the cattle sidings and the wooden bridge whilst the terrace housing in Wood Street which backed on to the goods yard can just be seen on the left.
