LMS Route: Nuneaton to Leamington

LNWR 5ft 6in 2-4-2T No 465 is seen in steam standing in front of Nuneaton shed in 1922. A train of Private Owner coal wagons are partly visible in background. Designed by William Webb, No 465 was built by Crewe works in January 1891 and would, in January 1927, be renumbered by the LMS as No 6604 and again by British Railways as No 46604 in November 1948 which it carried until August 1955 when it was withdrawn from 2C Warwick shed to be scrapped.
