View of the road approach from a window on the staircase to the passenger footbridge on 13th August 1964. The entrance to the goods yard and shed can be seen on the right behind the Ellis & Everard lorry. On the left, on the site of the old saw mill, is a brand new building and store for Ellis & Everard Ltd, founded in 1848, who were initially Coal Factors & Merchants before becoming builders merchants. They were bought out by Travis Perkins and Company.
