LMS Route: Nuneaton to Leamington

English Electric AL3 E3030 is seen reversing towards its train whilst in the distance, beyond the platform end, is English Electric Type 4 Diesel D304, which had brought the train down from London. D304 is reversing back to the south end of the station through the slow line platforms. The photograph was taken looking north about 3pm on Thursday 26th March 1964. At the time the photograph was taken D304 was allocated to 5A Crewe North shed.
