An unidentified ex-LNWR 0-6-0 2F Cauliflower class locomotive stands in the exchange sidings with an up mineral train circa 1947. Traffic proceeding south towards Banbury on the GWR would continue on this set of tracks as they ran parallel for a short distance with the LNWR lines to Rugby before joining the GWR route adjacent to Leamington South signal box as seen in image 'lnwrlave2788'. The sidings on the left would be used to marshal traffic for the GWR lines. To the left of these sidings was the exchange line used for traffic heading north towards Hatton.
