British Railways built 3MT 2-6-2T No 41226 departs from Daimler Halt with the 5:14pm from Nuneaton service on 24th July 1957. The Ivatt designed locomotive was fitted with Push-Pull equipment and is operating in this mode above, although in this instance the locomotive is at the head of the train. An example of a Push-Pull train working carriage first can be seen in image 'lnwroffch1451'. The six coach 5:28pm service from Coventry has also just departed from the Halt, both timed to coincide with the end of a shift. Built at Crewe works in October 1948, No 41226 remained in service until September 1964 when it was withdrawn from 6H Bangor shed to be scrapped after a period in storage by Birds of Morriston in Swansea.
