Close up of image 'lnwrcov650' showing the coal picker and coal shovel hanging on either side of the gas lit lamppost. These do not belong to either of the two locomotives as each has its own set in view. The tender locomotives has its fire irons on top of the coal in the tender whilst the tank engine has a shovel on top of the right hand tank. The fire irons would have been used by the disposal crews who would have both descended beneath the locomotives via the pits to rake the ash and clinker from the ash pan as well as raking the firebox from within the cab.
