Gosford Green Goods Yard: lnwrcll2745

Two unidentified ex-LMS locomotives are wreathed in smoke as they stand at the entrance to Gosford Green goods yard. The locomotive on the left has a Stanier tender indicating that its most likely a 'Black 5' 4-6-0 or 8F 2-8-0 locomotive. On the right is a Horwich 'Crab' 2-6-0 locomotive, its nickname resulting from its high cylinder mounting resulting in sloped connecting rods and valve gear.
