Gosford Green Goods Yard: lnwrcll106

View of Gosford Green goods yard's entrance taken from the bridge which carried the railway over Binley Road in Stoke, a district of Coventry. On the right can be seen the weighbridge and office which appears to be out of action being surrounded by ad-hoc barriers. The sign read 'British Railways, Gosford Green, Goods, Coal and Mineral Depot'. Its not known why this official photograph had the name of the depot cut out. The brick wall was an attractive yellow hue as were many of the structures along the line. The photograph was taken on 13th September 1954.
