Ex-LMS 2-6-4T No 42432 is seen at the head of a local passenger service as it waits to depart from the down platform at Clifton Mill. Built at Derby works to Lot 128 in March 1936 No 2432 remained in service until August 1965 when it was withdrawn from Barrow-in-Furness shed to be scrapped the following year in February 1966 by J Cashmore of Newport.
