Ex-LNWR 3P 4-4-0 George the Fifth class No 5354 'New Zealand' is seen standing at the West end of Platform 3 at the head of a down excursion to the North. Built in June 1911 as LNWR No 2081 New Zealand by Crewe works No 5354 received its LMS number in December 1926 and remained in service until January 1936 when it was withdrawn to be scrapped soon afterwards by Crewe works.
