BR Period Locomotives: lnwrbns_br3335
Ex-LMS 4-6-0 5MT No 44909 is seen entering New Street
station on a down service on 15 June 1963. Built by Crewe works in November
1945, this Stanier 'Black Five' locomotive was to remain in service until
September 1967 when it was withdrawn from 10F Rose Grove shed to be scrapped by
J Cashmore of Great Bridge.
