LMS Route: Rugby to Tamworth

LNWR 4P Prince of Wales Class 4-6-0 No 145 passes through Tamworth on a down Euston to Carlisle express. Built by Beardmore & Company in August 1921, No 145 was initially allocated as LMS No 5763 but was later placed on the duplicate list by adding 20,000 to its number to become No 25763 which it carried until August 1939 when it was withdrawn from 2B Bletchley shed.
