Wood End Platform: gwrwe1364

View looking towards Birmingham and Wood End Lane road bridge with the up platform passenger and parcel buildings in the foreground. The nearest building is probably a parcels store and was a later structure built with corrugated steel sheeting. The furthest building was an original structure housing both waiting room and gentlemen's toilets. On the left complete with handrails is a pathway leading down to the end of the platform and to the Permanent Way store at the end of the platform. The wheelbarrow on the down platform is full of lime wash which was being used to paint the platform edge and the bottom of the very tall lampposts.
