The windows in the side of the down passenger waiting room was formed by the simple expedient of removing three horizontal cladding timbers. Inside, the top half of the waiting room has been painted white to lighten up the room. Note the booking office has been given a short canopy although its value for keeping passengers dry is questionable more probably it was to protect the occupant from gusty weather.
