Shirley Station: gwrsh2922

Ex-GWR 68xx Class No 6861 'Crynant Grange' passes through Shirley on a down express service on 20th June 1964. From December 1955 to being scrapped in October 1965, No 6861 was allocated to Tyseley shed and could be seen across the region being recorded by other photographers; at Snow Hill in colour in 1961 (see image 'gwrbsh1256') and in black and white at Shirley (see image 'gwrsh492'.
