View of the front of Stratford on Avon Shed seen in June 1965 almost three years after closure in September 1962. The two external inspection pits can be clearly seen, but all track work has been removed. On the left the 'bag' of the water crane can just be seen whilst in the distance is the Gas Holder that once dominated the scene. In Mike Hitches book Warwickshire Railways he incorrectly attributes the photograph to being of the former SMJ shed.
