GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

Part of the traverser between Platforms 1 and 2 has been lifted and laid out on the track behind so the 'rolling chassis' can be given a thorough overhaul. A steam crane, presumed to be from Tyseley stands at Platform 1. The work clearly took some time as a buffer stop has been erected at Platform 2 to protect the traverser and maintenance crew.
