Ex-GWR 0-6-2T 56xx class No 6668 is seen about to depart the traverser having brought the 6 25 pm local passenger service from Knowle & Dorridge on 28th July 1960. In the background the surface level shed can be seen whilst to its right is the wagon hoist to lower level shed 'A'. Built by the Armstrong Whitworth Company in September 1928 No 6668 was to remain in service until December 1965 when it was withdrawn from Croes Newydd shed to be scrapped in February 1966 by J Cashmore of Great Bridge.
