Ex-GWR 2-8-0 28xx Class No 2899 is seen approaching Leamington South Signal Box whilst at the head of an up goods train. Built at Swindon works in December 1939, No 2899 was to remain in service until March 1965 when it was withdrawn from 81C Southall shed.
